Despite the appearance of their former owners and the deeply unpleasant smell emanating from it, undead meat is not rotten. It, like the nature of its former owners, is preserved in a state between life and death, as if it's on the cusp of souring, but never quite getting there.

This unique nature gives it some very interesting properties, but sadly, flavour isn't one of them.
