Speak to the Мудрый старик; he wants to teach you about lifewards and how to recharge them. First, you will need to create a rune altar, requiring 12 stone and 4 rune essence. After you build the altar, create a small wardstone with 5 rune essence and one stone. It is recommended to make more (and possibly a higher-tier wardstone) for the next quest, Убийца драконов.

After making the small wardstone, bring it to the Wise Old Man to complete this quest.
