Крушеклык was a notorious alpha wolf who terrorized Брэмблмид during the time when humans inhabited Эшенфолл. Known for his cunning and cruelty, he was responsible for one of the most devastating wolf attacks in the settlement's history.

The Дикие рыцари of Brynmoor typically controlled wolf populations by culling pack leaders and luring larger groups away from human settlements with fresh deer kills. Unlike most wolves, Shatterfang ignored these diversions and followed his scent directly to Bramblemead. His attack resulted in a bloodbath that forced villagers to lock themselves in their homes, praying to Гутикс that the wolves wouldn't break through their doors.

When the Wild Knights sent hunters to deal with the threat, Shatterfang proved exceptionally clever. He used the urban structures of Bramblemead against the hunters, avoiding their arrows and repeatedly escaping their attempts to kill him.

Shatterfang was eventually defeated through the combined efforts of two individuals: a necromancer (Раванна) with bone magic and Ульв. The necromancer used dark magic to immobilize Shatterfang by locking his bones in place, allowing her companion to strike from the shadows with weapons, described as blades forged from the wolf's kin." After the wolf was slain, the villagers offered the pair any reward they desired - money, weapons, or gems. However, the duo only requested Shatterfang's skull as payment for their service.

The companion who helped defeat Shatterfang was likely Ульв, an outcast who had previously killed another wolf that attacked Bramblemead and fashioned its skull into a mask. This connection is supported by later accounts of a Wild Knight who wore a mask made from the skull of a wolf who rescued a female necromancer fleeing from pirates.

The necromancer who helped defeat Shatterfang appears to be the same one who later formed a partnership with Ulv. She is described as having "a knack for controlling simple fangs and bones, which aligns with the dark magic to lock the wolf's bones in place used in defeating Shatterfang.

After being rescued by Ulv, they became friends and worked together to keep each other well fed. Evidence of their friendship can still be found throughout the forest in the form of miniature carvings depicting a wolf skull and a bat in locations that held special meaning to the pair.
