Ожог is a status effect that builds while in direct sunlight in the Сумрачные пески and falls off in shade or at night. When the meter fills, it will drain 1 health and 1.5 hydration per second.
The perk Морозные вкусы from cactus water, the Cooling infusions, monkfish skewers and Umbral kebab and the armour desert hood, desert robes, and desert robe legs provide Scorch resistance. The more sources of Scorch resistance a player has, the longer they can remain in direct sunlight. The armour provide a bit better resistance than the perks, but they all stack. The time a player can remain in direct sunlight before being afflicted by Scorch is as follows:

Additionally, the Ожог build up is reduced to about half near sunrise (around 7:30 AM in-game) and sunset (around 8 PM in-game).
