Raw infernal eel is a Power Level 4 raw ingredient, which means it can be cooked at a campfire, grill, or with Инфернальная удочка into smoked infernal eel starting at Готовка level 41, and not burnt into burnt infernal eel at level 50. It can be gathered from rod fishing spots with ideally a maple rod in Даудун-Рич at level 3 Рыбалка. Using giant krill bait increases the chance of catching one. It is the normal variant of a pristine infernal eel.

In truth, this is not a demonic fish, but rather the result of a strange magical and infernal energies. The eel is naturally a magically attuned fish, some generate small thunderstorms within their flesh, others blend with shadows to become almost entirely invisible. These eels, infused as they were with the abundant anima of Ashenfall, became changed by the energies of Dowdun Reach's demonic rites. Fortunately, the transformation, while a little disconcerting, only really serves to give the ma slightly spicy aftertaste.
